hi there!

every gathering grows its own ecosystem. a classroom, a workshop, a collection of organisms convening to connect -- each becomes a container shaped by shared stories, exchanged knowledge, and collective experiences.

most are ephemeral, dissipating with space and time. some take root, whether physically or technologically, becoming something more lasting. all matter, all teach us that connection is a living practice, and that even brief encounters can leave an imprint, a softening (and sometimes, a hardening!), a shift in how we move through life.

i found this in observing insects -- how life organizes itself in small, sacred pockets: a maggot mass aggregating to optimally feed and grow, ants tracing invisible pheromone trails to guide one another, tent caterpillars weaving temporary shelters.

i was reminded again in community with community yoga initiative where every single organism (mostly humans and a few fur friends!) was witnessed and held in word, in movement, in dance, in song, in breath.
